The Wyckoff House Museum is hosting a town hall today to educate the community on how they can get involved.
The house on Clarendon Road dates back to 1652 and was almost at risk of demolition decades ago until it was landmarked.
The staff hosted a town hall to answer questions in hopes of encouraging the community to volunteer at the oldest structure in New York City.
The staff tells News 12 they often hear from neighbors that more should be done to shine a light on the location.
They say the museum has seen an increase in school groups and more visitors than past years.
