Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry was rushed to the hospital after he became ill on stage while performing in Coney Island.
Perry was performing at the Ford Amphitheater with Alice Cooper and Johnny Depp in their band called Hollywood Vampires. The band continued to play out the rest of the concert after Perry was rushed off the stage.
Video recorded by a fan shows Perry collapsing on stage around 9:30 p.m. The fan wrote that Perry had to sit on the drum kit, then went behind a small wall and passed out.
The 65-year-old underwent several tests at Coney Island Hospital before being transferred to Columbia Presbyterian in Manhattan where he is in stable condition.
Alice Cooper tweeted out just after midnight his gratitude toward everyone who's reached out, saying that Perry is stable, with family and under the best care.
