Coney Island beaches cleared for swimming
Coney Island's beaches reopened Wednesday, a day after they were closed due to sharks spotted in the area.
Viewer video sent to News 12 Brooklyn shows one of the sharks swimming just offshore Tuesday, but officials allowed swimmers to return to the water the next day.
Experts say beachgoers should always remain alert and keep their eyes open for activity in the water.
