While the Brooklyn Heights Library undergoes renovations, books and activities will be housed at a temporary library at 109 Remsen St.
The opening of the interim library was held Wednesday.
The 7,000 square-foot interim library is filled with tables, laptops, a room for children's activities and shelves filled with books.
About 17,000 of the 70,000 books from the library are now at the location on Remsen Street.
The books will be available at the interim library for the next three years during the renovation.
