Levi Aron's lawyer: Inbreeding played role in alleged murder

The lawyer for the man accused of killing 8-year-old Leiby Kletzky last summer says inbreeding played a factor in the alleged murder.
"He suffered a severe head injury as a younger man, there's a family history of schizophrenia, there's inbreeding in that community," said Levi Aron's attorney Howard Greenberg.
Aron's three lawyers say their client still pleads not guilty by reason of insanity and that they need time to meet with mental health experts and present their case.
Assemblyman Dov Hikind is blasting Greenberg's comments, calling the reference to inbreeding outrageous.
The parties will return to court March 13.
