NYPD recruits BK pastors into anti-crime team
Police recruited several East Flatbush church pastors yesterday as anti-crime counselors in the community. As members of the 67th Precinct Clergy Council Crisis Team, the pastors received yellow jackets to signify their roles as religious leaders focused on stopping gun violence. The team will offer prayers and counseling to crime victims at their homes and in hospitals. Teams of 10 will be dispatched throughout the precinct to aid victims as needed.
