Bed-Stuy man pleads guilty in salon shooting

A Brooklyn man accused of attempted murder in a salon shooting pleaded guilty today and will now face 20 years in prison. Police say Winston Cox demanded cash and other belongings from customers at Sabine's Hallway beauty parlor in Oct. 2010. Cox then shot at an off-duty officer, who was getting her hair done at the time, and was struck in the hand when she fired back. He escaped and was arrested several days later.
