NYCLU makes guide for students
The New York Civil Liberties Union on Monday distributed pamphlets at a Brooklyn school it says can guide students when interacting with school safety agents.
Angela Jones, who works with the nonprofit group, says students "are being confronted by police personnel when they're not even committing any crimes."
Students say some officers do cross the line, but stress that school safety agents make them feel safer at the school.
Students at Clara Barton High School received the information Monday. The NYCLU plans to hand out the same pamphlet Friday at Sheepshead Bay High School.
