Vision for 9/11 museum gets clearer

As the nation prepares to mark the eighth anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks, plans for a memorial museum are being fine-tuned.
Planners say the 9/11 Memorial Museum will itself be an exhibit, with materials from the World Trade Center site being used during construction. Museum planners have also launched a Web site where people can submit amateur video and pictures capturing their account of 9/11.
The museum is expected to be 70 feet underground, and while most of the steel beams are in place, it isn't set to open until 2012.
