Firefighter from Brooklyn dies following stroke

FDNY firefighters are mourning the loss of their colleague who died Friday after suffering a stroke on the job.
According to FDNY officials, 47-year-old Paul Warhola, who was assigned to Engine 221 in Williamsburg, fell ill Wednesday while responding to an emergency call, which turned out to be false.
Warhola, a 16-year FDNY veteran, was taken to Bellevue Hospital Center, where he later passed away. Mayor Michael Bloomberg says Warhola is survived by his wife and daughter.
