Authorities say one pedestrian was killed early Wednesday after a van struck three men walking home from a bar in Sunset Park.

Witnesses say the three men were walking near 39th and 4th avenues when a speeding vehicle passed by and crashed into them. Police say one man died on impact and the other two were badly injured and taken to Lutheran Medical Center.

Officers say the three men may have been walking against traffic at the time of the crash. Police say no criminality is suspected and the driver has not been charged.
