Shot Little Leaguer heads back to the field

The Little Leaguer who family members say was shot by a stray bullet is heading back to the field this weekend.
Family members say the bullet nearly killed 11-year-old Davonte Kelly Sunday as he was sitting on bleachers waiting to take a team photo with his Little League baseball team.
"I was going to sit down when I was struck in the head, and we all thought it was a hardball,? says Davonte.
Doctors say the bullet penetrated Davonte?s head but barely missed his skull.
Mother Andrea Walters still cannot believe that something like this could happen during an innocent ball game. ?I keep thinking that it could have been a totally different thing. I could?ve been planning a funeral.?
Davonte walked out of the hospital Wednesday with no serious injuries. Saturday he will be back on the field cheering on his teammates.
