Bicyclists enjoy 5th annual Tour de Brooklyn

The 5th annual Tour de Brooklyn brought out thousands of local bicyclists for the free all-day trek through the borough.
More than 2,000 bicyclists made the 23-mile ride through Brooklyn, a ride that people say brings the community together.
"It's a great way to feel healthy, a great way to feel good and enjoy life," Rodney Seymour says.
With an NYPD escort throughout, most riders say it was a welcomed reprieve from battling traffic. The course was off-limits to all motor vehicles.
"Most of us are Brooklyn [residents], so it's a pleasure to ride without traffic," Mark Murphy says.
The trek went through Brighton Beach, Bensonhurst, Sunset Beach, Flatbush, Flatlands and started and ended on Coney Island.
