Family of stabbed Paul Robeson student plans lawsuit
The family of the student stabbed at Paul Robeson High School in Crown Heights last week says that he is now permanently paralyzed.
The family of 18-year-old Kyle Owens, who was found bleeding in a school hallway, plans to sue the Department of Education, claiming there wasn?t enough security in the building. The school was placed on lockdown following the attack.
Police arrested a 16-year-old in connection with the stabbing. He was in court Friday along with Owens? aunt, who claims the suspect?s bail was set too low.
