Mice, roaches plague Bushwick apartment
A Bushwick family is complaining about a whole host of problems plaguing their apartment, including roaches, mice, holes in the wall and a bathroom about to cave in.
Tenant Katherine Diaz, who shares the apartment with her seven children, says she?s been trying to get help from the city to deal with the dilapidated conditions, but to no avail.
Diaz says she can?t afford to move out of the apartment and the owner of the building is nowhere to be found. She says she and her neighbors have not seen management for months and are receiving no answers.
News 12 Brooklyn reached out to the owners of 531 Knickerbocker Ave. several times, but they refused to discuss the situation
