A man was arraigned Thursday for allegedly abandoning a woman outside his Brighton Beach dental practice after she became unconscious.
Alexander Poperetchny, 47, is charged with reckless endangerment and practicing medicine without a license.
The Brooklyn district attorney claims Poperetchny dumped the 71-year-old woman Oct. 23 after she fell ill while he was performing oral surgery.
A witness says the woman looked green and her lips were blue. She is listed in critical condition at Coney Island Hospital.
Bail was set at $50,000 cash or $100,000 bond for the suspect. His attorney claims Poperetchny called 911 and waited with the woman.
