Cops: Thief grabs phone from pocket of D train commuter
Police are searching for the man who they say snatched a cell phone from the pocket of a D train commuter.
According to cops, the suspect was caught on video at the Grand Concourse and East Kingsbridge Road platform two weeks ago as he robbed a woman.
The thief is described as being in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black Doo rag, blue plaid shirt and jeans.
Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
