NYPD steps up security in wake of Colo. movie massacre
Local and national officials are responding to the Colorado movie theater massacre that killed 12 and wounded dozens, as security at movie theaters in the city is being stepped up. The NYPD says it will step up security at theaters where "The Dark Knight Rises" is playing across the five boroughs. NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly says that at least two officers will patrol every movie theater in the city that is showing the Batman film. President Obama also addressed the nation about the movie theater massacre, noting that today is not about politics but remembering the victims of this tragedy.
