University Heights community stocks up on fresh produce
University Heights residents are stocking up on fresh fruits and vegetables this summer after fighting for their own farmer's market.
The New Heights Community Farmer's Market brings fresh produce to the neighborhood every week, complete with exotic choices that are all grown in New York State.
Community members say they rallied for the market because there were no similar options in the area.
The market is open every Thursday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. through November.
