DOT urges drivers, pedestrians to 'Look'

The Department of Transportation (DOT) is launching a new campaign to get both drivers and pedestrians to look out on city roadways. Pavement markings and posters using a new "Look" logo are going up at 110 intersections with a history of crashes, including at the Grand Concourse and Bedford Park Boulevard.
The initial rollout began in July and the "Look" campaign originated in 2006 to enhance safety for all street users, including cyclists.
