Cops: Men pose as Con Ed workers to rob Fordham apartment
Police are searching for two men who posed as Con Edison workers to break into a Fordham home. Authorities say the suspects, who dressed in hard hats and vests, impersonated the utility employees to enter the apartment complex near Morris Avenue and 188th Street. Sources say the men were allowed into the building and then proceeded to burglarize the victim's residence. Neighbors say they are fearful for their safety and that they'll be more vigilant going forward. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
