A professional doll maker from Morris Park is using fantasy to create dolls unlike any other. Award-winning artist Alba Garcia, who has been making dolls since she was 5, says she draws inspiration from fantasy books, science fiction and studying biology. Garcia creates a variety of dolls, from trolls to half-lady, half-rabbit figurines. Her pieces sell for between $500 and $3,000. Garcia says she wants to use her art to help children better see the world around them. She'll be teaching her talents in classes, starting this month. Fantasiation
