Reward offered in fatal gas station shooting
A $12,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in the fatal shooting of a Bronx gas station attendant.
According to police, two men on bicycles approached 20-year-old Lamin Sillah while he was working at RC Petroleum on East 182nd Street in Tremont Tuesday night. The men demanded cash and then shot Sillah, who was pronounced dead at Saint Barnabas Hospital.
Cops have released surveillance video of the shooting, along with a sketch of the suspects. One is described as being in his 20s with a stocky build. The other is described as a thin, black man.
