A baby girl is in grave condition tonight and her mother is dead after an apartment fire in Kingsbridge. Fire officials say the blaze broke out at 3034 Albany Crescent at around 7 p.m. They say the infant was found in an empty bathtub while her mother was found with stab wounds on a mattress. Authorities say it appears the mattress was dragged into the bathroom and set on fire. The baby was taken to the hospital in grave condition. Police are still trying to identify the victims.
