A Brooklyn dentist is under arrest after being accused of stealing more than $48,000 from medicaid.

The New York attorney general says Joseph Shyknevsky hired unlicensed workers to do dental procedures at his practice, "J S Atlantic Dental PC."

Authorities say he billed medicaid for the work they performed and received the money in pay outs. 

The dentist and four others are charged with healthcare fraud and other charges.

They all pleaded not guilty.
