Katie Lusso joined the News 12 team in June of 2012 as a General Assignment Reporter.
She started her news career at a CBS affiliate in Bridgeport, West Virginia. There, she was a Reporter as well as an Anchor/Producer for the Weekend newscasts. She also worked as a videographer for Mountaineer Sports Network. Before that, she was an intern at News 12 Long Island.
Lusso graduated from West Virginia University with a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in History. She grew up in Long Island and attended Bethpage High School.
When Lusso is not reporting, she loves playing the piano, running, spending time with family and friends, cheering on the Mountaineers and playing ultimate Frisbee.
