Holocaust survivors gather in Kensington for remembrance ceremony
A group of Holocaust survivors gathered in Kensington Tuesday to recall their painful memories that they say must be preserved.
The remembrance event was held at the Flatbush Jewish Center.
Those in attendance sang, prayed and recounted stories of the genocide. Six candles were symbolically lit to honor the six million Jewish lives lost.
The group's heartbreaking memories are ones the survivors say must be preserved.
