Best of Brooklyn: Man celebrates milestone run

A Brooklyn man marked a major milestone Tuesday in his journey through every park in New York.
Remi Chain, 56, participated in his 100th run as part of the New York Road Runners program.
The mechanical engineer says his treadmill broke down three years ago and decided to try something out of his comfort zone. So, he laced up and hit the road.
Chain joined the New York Road Runners, a free program that offers weekly runs and walks for participants of all ages and abilities throughout the five New York City boroughs.
Chain says he plans on running the Chicago Marathon for the first time in October.
He encourages people who want to learn to run to join the New York Road Runners program.
