NYPD: 12-year-old shot after fight near Pink Houses in East New York

BROOKLYN -

A gunman shot a 12-year-old boy in the ankle outside the Louis H. Pink Houses in East New York Monday night.

It happened after a fight in which the boy was involved, News 12 is told.

The boy managed to walk home to the Linden Plaza apartments across the street before he was taken to Kings County Hospital in stable condition.

Police have confirmed that he was the intended target.
