Russian-Americans mark Victory Day to commemorate defeat of Nazis in Soviet Union
Russian-Americans in Brooklyn celebrated the end of World War II fighting in Russia 72 years ago today.
The Russian Victory Day Holiday marks the anniversary of the 1945 victory over Nazi forces in the Soviet Union.
In modern day Russia, war veterans march in an enormous parade in full dress uniforms.
In Brooklyn, Russian-Americans sang songs, exchanged stories and some of them showed off their own medals.
