NYC Ferry's South Brooklyn route is set to sail on June 1.
The ferry's safety and training manager, Dennis Robesch, says he cannot wait for Brooklyn residents to have the chance to see the borough from a new point of view.
The ferry will be connecting people to waterfront recreational sites and parks, in addition to easing travel commute for those working in midtown Manhattan or the Financial District.
Starting in Bay Ridge at $2.75 a trip, the new route stops at Sunset Park, Red Hook, Atlantic Avenue and Dumbo before ending at Manhattan's Pier 11 on Wall Street.
