1 student allegedly stabbed after fight in Williamsburg

BROOKLYN -

A schoolyard fight led to an alleged stabbing in Williamsburg Friday.

It happened at I.S 71 on Heyward Street around 11 a.m.

Two 14-year-old students were allegedly arguing over a skateboard when one teen pulled out a pair of scissors and stabbed the other in the abdomen.

The student who was stabbed is now recovering in Woodhull Hospital and is expected to be OK.

The other student has been arrested and charged with assault.
