For the first time since 1954, Feltman's is back on Coney Island.
The new Feltman's location is inside Luna Park, exactly where the restaurant's original founder invented the hot dog 150 years ago.
Owners of the restaurant say their famous 8-inch hot dog is made of uncured beef with Feltman's secret blend, which includes garlic and sea salt.
They say that while the restaurant survived from 1870 until 1954, Feltman's struggled for many years as other restaurants began selling a cheaper version of the Feltman's original hot dog.
Now, the owners tell News 12 they are committed to bringing back the original Feltman's hot dog.
In honor of its return, the first 150 guests received free hot dogs.
