An organization held a fashion show to help give kids more confidence that they can overcome any situation.

Joviis Designs held a fashion show to encourage the children and families of domestic abuse and other violence to remember they are survivors, not victims.

Organizers say they hope the kids feel confident strutting their stuff and remind them of their own bright futures.

The company held its first kid’s fashion show in Brooklyn in 2014.
