1 dead, 1 injured after shooting in Bushwick

A shooting in Bushwick early Friday morning left one teen dead and another injured.
Officials say Kieth Kyser, 17, and his 14-year-old cousin had walked down the street from a party to the corner deli on Jefferson Street to grab food and were on their way back home at about 2 a.m.
Surveillance video shows four people approached the victims. After they appeared to reach for a handshake, somebody opened fire, striking Kyser in the chest and leg and his cousin in the thigh.
Police say Kyser was pronounced dead at the hospital. They say the 14-year-old boy was treated and has returned home.
Sources say Kyser and one of the suspects had been involved in an ongoing social media dispute that may have been over a girl.
Police say they're questioning one person as their investigation continues.
