Williamsburg schools invite professionals for Career Day
The P.S. 196 and M.S. 582 campus held its annual Career Day Wednesday, emphasizing a wide range of future options for students.
All kinds of professionals met with students, including politicians, firefighters, business people and a New York Cosmos soccer player.
Students say they look forward to the event because it introduces them to a variety of careers, including some they hadn't heard of.
"When I grow up, I'm actually going to join WWE wrestling," student Jada Dean tells News 12.
The next few days of classes will include discussions about what students learned from their visitors.
