A nonprofit group in Brooklyn has been providing a safe and encouraging place for kids for decades.
With a focus on enriching the lives of kids in the community, Sesame Flyers says it helps kids by giving them a better understanding of their culture.
The group works with kids to help boost their self-esteem and provide insight into their Caribbean heritage.
The group has won over 11 awards for their participation during the annual West Indian Labor Day parade.
Sesame Flyers hopes to raise between $75,000 and $150,000 during this year's parade so they can continue to help inspire children.
