BROOKLYN -

The NYPD says they are looking for two men who appear to be connected to the SUV shooting deaths of a man and woman Friday morning in East New York.

News 12 reported that investigators found 27-year-old Devon Hannibal, of Canarsie, in the driver's seat of a red-colored Dodge Durango and 23-year-old Christina Stubbs, of Florida, in the passenger seat. They were both shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene.

The surveillance footage shows the SUV reversing on Cleveland Street around 4:45 a.m. Minutes later, a man is seen running away from the scene. Police are searching for another man who appears to meet up with the person who ran away from the SUV.

It is still not known why the man and woman were targeted.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. For Spanish speakers, 1-888-57-PISTA
