Holocaust Memorial Committee hosts Brooklyn gathering

The Holocaust Memorial Committee held its annual gathering in Sheepshead Bay.
The committee says remembering the past becomes even more important as hatred and anti-Semitism continues.
One by one, Holocaust survivors told their emotional stories of strength and resilience.
The event was held at the Holocaust Memorial Park, which was built as a place where people could come and remember loved ones who died during the Holocaust.
At the end, stones were placed in memory of those lost.
