Last day of school bittersweet for BK 5th-graders

A group of fifth-graders in Brooklyn weren't all smiles on the last day of school Wednesday because most of them would be headed to different campuses next year.
Most of the students at P.S. 276 say they are excited for summer, but a group of fifth-graders say they are going to miss the school and their friends.
Of course, students who aren’t fifth-graders will come back to school in the fall, and Principal Yasmine Fidelia says children should still continue to learn through their summer breaks so they are ready to return.
"Get them reading, get them outside, get them involved in something," she says.
