A new mobile soup kitchen will soon be on the streets of North Brooklyn to provide aid to those in need.
The Angelmobile is a specially built RV that is fully equipped with a kitchen, food storage facilities, office space and outdoor awnings.
The North Brooklyn Neighbors Helping Neighbors Coalition, a newly formed nonprofit, is dedicating the soup kitchen to deliver hot meals to residents in need.
It has the capacity to serve up to 800 meals per day and also provide critical social services, including housing, substance abuse, employment and counseling.
More than 60 religious, civic, social service and business groups have enlisted to participate in the program.
