Police: 4 suspects wanted for robbing man of $80K in Sheepshead Bay

SHEEPSHEAD BAY -

Police are asking the for the public's help in finding four suspects wanted in a robbery in Sheepshead Bay.

Officials say on July 10, two men approached a 24-year-old man on East 21st Street and Avenue U and demanded his backpack.

When the man refused, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and took the backpack.

The bag contained approximately $80,000 in cash.

Two more people, a man and a woman, acted as lookouts during the incident.

Police say at least one of the suspects got out of a black four door sedan right before the robbery took place.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
