A Coney Island man is facing murder charges in connection with the death of his 16-month-old baby girl.

Police accuse Shaquan Taylor, 19, of beating his daughter Nylah Lewis to death.

Family members packed the courtroom Monday, tearing up as Taylor was arraigned on a 10-count indictment. Other charges include manslaughter and assault.

Taylor says his daughter's injuries came from falling out of bed.

He faces a maximum of 25 years to life in prison if convicted.
