Police probe Canarsie woman's cause of death

Authorities are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of 70-year-old woman whose legs were found bound by a scarf-like object inside her Canarsie home, police sources say.
Noreen Mulzac, 70, was found inside her 105-41 Flatlands 3rd St. apartment by her daughter's boyfriend. He then called police around 2:30 p.m. Monday.
She may have been dead for several days before her body was discovered, according to police.
The Trinidadian native was a nurse for 40 years and had two children, according to neighbors.
Police are not confirming whether there is a suspect or if anyone has been questioned. The medical examiner has not officially ruled on the cause of death.
