Brooklyn artist wants to install new sign atop 'Watchtower' building

A Brooklyn artist says she wants to change the Brooklyn skyline with a sign that can be seen far and wide.
According to the online blog 6sqft.com, artist Susanna Briselli wants to replace the bright red "WATCHTOWER" sign atop the Jehovah's Witnesses' Watchtower building now that it has switched owners.
The current sign has been a fixture of the Brooklyn skyline for almost 50 years.
Briselli's sign would read "Brooklyn!" She says the idea for it came to her 10 years ago when she and her husband would sit on their roof with friends.
