The Brooklyn stickball team took on Harlem Sunday for the second annual stickball challenge in Coney Island.
The game took place near the boardwalk and is similar to baseball, except players hit a rubber ball with a broom handle.
Brooklyn players say they've been playing the game for decades on the streets.
"It started out on kind of a Saturday morning and we'd have 10-12 guys get together," says player Joe Hodge. "As we got older, we started playing against different streets in the neighborhood."
The team says they hope to keep the tradition alive and to pass it on to the next generation of stickballers.
