Business owners applaud return of sunny, hot weather

Business owners in Coney Island say they're glad to see the return of sunny skies and high temperatures, despite being toward the end of a less-than-stellar summer.
Some owners say the summer's plentiful rainfall slowed down business, while others say the Coney Island Beach crowds have been steady all season.
On the boardwalk at Tom's Diner, manager Matteo Castilli says the combined rain and persistently overcast skies have been bad for business. Despite the downturn, Castilli says there's still some summer left and that he hopes to recoup his losses before temperatures get cold.
Mike Sarrel, proprietor of Ruby's Bar & Grill, says there's always a steady stream of customers, no matter the cloud coverage.
