    An Army sergeant from Brooklyn was one of two soldiers killed in a combat mission in Iraq last Sunday.

EAST FLATBUSH -

Mourners held a memorial service Thursday for the United States Army sergeant from Brooklyn who died in Iraq earlier this month.

Sgt. Roshain Brooks, 30, was among two paratroopers killed during a combat mission against the Islamic State group.

He was a veteran of more than five years who also served in Afghanistan and received multiple awards and medals.

He will be laid to rest Friday at Calverton National Cemetery on Long Island.
