Brooklyn lawmakers are accepting donations for victims of Hurricane Harvey.
Congressman Dan Donovan and Sen. Martin Golden are accepting the donations at their offices in Brooklyn.
The lawmakers are asking anyone in the community to try and do as much as they can to help Harvey victims just as so many other communities did for New York during Superstorm Sandy.
Items like flashlights, batteries, toiletries, diapers and first aid supplies are greatly needed.
Donations may be dropped off at either lawmakers’ offices at 7308 13th Ave. or 7408 5th Ave., between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. all this week.
