2 officers hurt after shooting suspect crashes into police car

Two police officers and two others were injured after a shooting suspect slammed their car into a police vehicle in Brooklyn, officials say.
The incident happened Wednesday at the intersection of Saratoga and Howard avenues around 10:30 p.m. in Bed-Stuy.
Police say a plain clothes officer heard at least four gunshots when a dark-colored Nissan Sedan drove quickly down the street.
A plain clothes officer attempted to chase the vehicle on foot, but police say the fleeing vehicle smashed into a marked housing-police car just a few yards away on Mcdonough and Ralph streets, injuring two officers inside.
The two officers, a 29-year-old and 19-year-old man were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Police say they recovered a gun and shell casings at the scene that match up.
Charges are pending against the two suspects in the crash and shooting, police say.
